 Phil D (Vocals)
Phil is the only original member of the PK´s and
can now be considered a veteran of over 1000 gigs standing(and shaking his
tambourine!). His favourite artists are The Beatles, Elvis Costello and
The Electric Light Orchestra. As well as fronting the band, Phil's other
passions in life are Hartlepool United Football Club and collecting small
round pieces of black plastic, with holes in the middle. You'll find him
at a Charity Shop near you.
Peter Aves (Lead Guitar)
The Youngster of the band, Pete joined the lads in
Autumn 2009 after several years of "tootling around" in his bedroom,
bringing the average age of the PK's down by about 25 years....He may be
young, but his superb Axe Skills are already an intergal part of the bands
sound and long may it continue. Outside of the group Pete likes to play
with Lego and is in the local Girls Brigade!
Graeme A (Guitars)
The second longest-suffering PK, Graeme joined up
in the mid 90's and has been strumming his stuff ever since. When he's not
plugging in his Fender, Graeme enjoys bird-watching and country walks,
plus lighting fires in his garden. His favourite musical acts are Status
Quo and Jethro Tull, who like his good self are still going strong!
John D (Drums)
When “Lord” John was called in as an emergency
almost 8 years ago, little did he know that it would lead to a career as
Skin-basher for Hartlepool's hardest-working band. Still playing his
original Ludwig drum-kit he bought in 1974 as a small boy (ha-ha!), John's
favourite band are legendary blues-rockers Free, indeed he plays the part
of Free Drummer Simon Kirke in a tribute band. John shares Phil's passion
of vinyl, only he collects BIG round pieces of plastic, and supports The
Boro.
Gav Bell (Bass Guitar)
Headlander Gav joined the band nearly 5 years ago
and immediately “Clicked-In” with Drummer John like a nice piece of
Laminate Flooring! Currently the owner of a vintage Gibson Bass with knobs
on, Gav´s melodic style and cheeky grin has made him a big favourite with
the band´s Female Fan. |
